The Science Of Decency 4

Here is video 4: The Master Interaction Charts. This is a core data piece and includes an example application as well as a take-home experiment. The details for the experimnet are listed below. Thank you, and feel free to leave your comments and/or questions. Subscribe if you’re interested in seeing more!

Entropy Experiment:

Picture Rules:
1) Picutre must encompass a rendition of a moral decision or topic which takes a side.
2) No unnecsesary words (anything that can be described in a picture, must be described in a picture).

Process Rules:
1) No artist interpretation may be given other than the expression in a picture (this maens no hints, no words, no gestures, no origami tricks, etc).
2) Process must contain at least 2 people (3-5 recommended)
3) No questions may be asked about the moral differences by the interpreter.
4) Any forms of artistry tools may be used, so long as the medium is conveyable to another indivdiual (i.e. it may start with paper and end on an easel or digital image) and expressed in what was thought to best represnet their interpretation.
5) You may set a time limit for each person’s artistry session if you like, but it is not recommended.
6) You may skip the text description of the interpretation if you’d like, it is only there to assist in the event that long periods of time are estimated in between start and finish).

Process:
1) Inform everyone about the process you’re about to undergo.
2) Artist(a) picks a moral decision & draw a picture about it based on the picture rules listed above. Artist(a) then writes a text description of the art’s meaning in pirvate.
3) First artist gives to artist(b)
4) Artist(b) interprets picture, attempts to recreate in their own wodrs, writing down in secret, a text interpretation of the art they received.
5) Artist(b) gives picture to artist(c), artist(c) interrpets & provides art, secretly interprtes w/text.
6) Artist(c) gives pictuer to artist(d), artist(d) interprets & provides art, secretly inetrprets w/text.
7) Continue chain until the extent of the participants has been reached.
8) Artist(last) gives their interpreted picture back to artist(a).
9) Artist(a) writes in secret the interpretation of the art they received from artist(last)
10) All artists share their interpretation of the image’s moral implication. Analysis is made of the changes undergone both morally & physically (technique-wise) through the steps.

Purpose:
To use MIC’s/MPC (final) to describe points of entropy (change/degradation) in interpretation & why they came about. If MIC’s/MPC (final) are not available, simple comparison of interpretation and & reasnoing behind it should suffice to display entropy.
